My fees are set to reflect the full scope and cost of providing high-quality, ethical psychiatric care in an independent, out-of-network practice.
Psychiatry requires extensive education and training, as well as ongoing professional obligations, including licensure, continuing education, and malpractice coverage. In addition, my practice carries the full cost of operating expenses such as office space, clinical systems, administrative support, and compliance requirements. Because I do not participate with insurance networks in order to provide the best possible care for my patients, I do not receive insurer subsidies or negotiated rates; all costs of care must be supported directly through fees for service.
While I understand that out-of-pocket care represents a meaningful financial commitment, maintaining consistent fees is essential to the sustainability of the practice and to the quality of care I provide.
Patients are welcome to submit claims to their insurance carrier for potential out-of-network reimbursement, and we are happy to provide appropriate documentation to support that process.
My goal is to be transparent, fair, and consistent, while ensuring the long-term viability of the practice and the level of care my patients expect and deserve.
I encourage patients to consider psychiatric care as a meaningful investment in long-term health and stability, comparable to other discretionary expenses that are commonly prioritized in everyday life. I believe that your mental and emotional well-being are worth the investment, and I work hard to honor that investment in the care that I provide.
